NEPSA 2021: APRIL 23-24

VIRTUAL CONFERENCE

The New England Political Science Association will convene its 2021 Annual Meeting as scheduled on April 23-24, in a completely virtual format.  Due to the lingering uncertainty concerning the COVID-19 pandemic, NEPSA has regretfully cancelled plans to hold the conference at Gurney's Resort and Marina in Newport, Rhode Island.

Panels for the virtual conference will be held on Friday, April 23 and Saturday April 24 (as we are not convening in person, we will not be holding our annual Thursday welcome event).  A full conference schedule, along with procedures and guidelines for a virtual conference, will be posted soon.

Although we are saddened that events have compelled us to shift the 2021 Annual Meeting to an online format, we are pleased to announce that NEPSA will be holding its 2024 Annual Meeting at Gurney's.  We would like to thank Gurney's for their understanding about the situation and their continued willingness to work with us, and we are looking forward to spending 2024 at their resort.

Finally, and just as importantly, NEPSA would like to thank all of you for your patience as we worked our way through this difficult process.  A special thanks goes to each of you who responded to our survey about the 2021 conference format; your responses were crucial in enabling NEPSA and Gurney's to arrive at a mutually-agreeable resolution.

We hope to "see" you at NEPSA 2021!
